Halfway done book report!

Book- The Kite Runner

Author- Khaled Hosseini

Where I am in the book- I have read to about page 30. And I'm still trying to get familiar with the characters names.

Summary- Khaled has a friend Rahim Khan who called him from Pakistan and wants him to visit him from the US. It goes on to explain and tell events that happened in Khaled and Rahim childhood. Rahim had a very poor childhood and Khaled lived in a mansion the size of the white house. They were not treated very well in the community. The most harsh seen and my favortie because it was the most interesting was when the soldier was being very mean to Rahim on the way to the movies. That really effected Rahim because the solder was talking about his mom who passed away years previously.

What I am confused about- I am still confused on what the plot of the story is going to be.

My prediction on how it will end- Khaled will go and visit Kahim and something will go wrong

The color assignment

As i went to the baseball field I say the dark green grass fly up and down from the players black cleats. Seeing all the blue and white a tire that the fans chose to wear that day. On that beautiful day their was a baby blue sky and white clouds with a little bit of haunted gray in the mixture. Everything was going well. Peoples smiling white teeth shinning in the powerful yellow sun. You could smell the pink cotton candy go within the air, and kids begging their parents to get that red white and blue Yankee stuff animal that was in the team store. You say the green and tan dollar bills being spent everywhere you went and the look of happiness on every ones face but the opponents fans. That was a very fun day with the Yankees coming out on top but also a day that I will not forget, you can defiantly say that it wasn't a dark day.

Cold Damp Tuesday

As I walked through the park there was a soft cold breeze

I bent my clothing to keep me warm from it

I remembered the song about snow that chilled my spin

While walking came an apple that fell right before me

There was something about that cold wintery Tuesday

Next time I go out I will remember to look at my “to stay warm list”

It was so cold I couldn’t even walk in a straight line

Only if I remembered to where my hunting boots

My feet would have been warm like grand moms stew.
